Price
$280 per month – annual: $3,080 ($280 – 1 month savings). Please add HST to all pricing. ($280 is $316.40 with HST; $3,080 is $3,480.40 with HST.)
Clay (per 10kg block/sleeve, plus HST): MCS white or red clay – $49 ($55.37 with HST); black stoneware – $63 ($71.19 with HST). Please provide us with as much notice as possible when purchasing clay. We will make it available to you as quickly as possible.
Recycling: we separate the 3 clay bodies – sorry, individualized recycling of clay is not permitted.
Membership includes
- 24-hour access*
- Monthly firing**
- An individual cubby, clay storage crates, monthly (at least) firings and an “in progress” shelf … all in a beautiful, atmospheric, communal and exceptionally-equipped space
- Discounts on classes and workshops and participation in studio sales
* The only exclusions to full, 24-hour access are some Couples Nights and Private events – notice will be given on these infrequent occasions or for power outages, etc.
** Monthly firing: ½ shelf per member per month in our large kiln, 8" max height (negotiable). $25 for every extra half shelf. Firing is monthly (bisque + glaze) or more frequently based on need. CEP is not responsible for undesirable outcomes from any part of the pottery process.
Getting started
For those registering for Open Studio Community Membership through the website, you must book a time with us before your first visit so we may orient you to the studio and set you up with your cubby.
Anyone interested in Open Studio Community Membership (Regular or 24/7) at CEP is welcome to email us at chromaticearthpottery@gmail.com before booking to discuss their ability to work (and clean) independently, to come and check out the space’s atmosphere to see if it is an energetic fit for them or to request a copy of our Policy and Terms and Conditions statements.
