Couples Night - Saturdays (and some Fridays) 6-8:45pm

The ULTIMATE Toronto Couples Nights takes place at Chromatic Earth Pottery.

One look at our studio is typically enough for people to recognize that we set up our space specifically with Couples Nights in mind. Our studio is clean, the ambiance is warm and the energy is wonderful ... especially when we turn on the Couples Night lights! It is the perfect place to enjoy meaningful time with that special someone.

Couples Night Events are 2 hours and 45 minutes long, with the last 15 minutes scheduled for clean-up. One instructor as well as all required materials and tools are provided. Couples will learn how to "throw" on the wheel and choose their favourite 3 pieces to keep (which the instructor will allow to dry, then trim - which pretties the artwork up significantly, fire in the kiln, glaze and then fire again).

The listed price is for 2 people - one couple.

A couple of days after the session, the instructor will trim the new creations - which pretties up the artwork significantly, and once they are completely dry, fire them in the kiln. After cooling, the artwork will then be glazed and fired again. After a few weeks, participant keepsakes will be available for pick up from our studio - just shoot us an email before coming to pick them up to make sure they are, indeed, ready.

Kindly note, this reservation is ideally suited for a couple—two adults. We strive to maintain an intimate setting - and there is a comfortable seating area for art breaks, complete with refreshments - and we therefore cap the group size at a maximum of 10 individuals (5 couples). If a number of couples know each other and are looking for a group activities, we will allow one more couple to join in the fun.

Each couple is supplied with all the tools they need and a third of a block of clay. All tools and equipment are the property of Chromatic Earth Pottery and cannot be borrowed for use outside of the studio.

Please note that some Friday Couples Nights may include a very small number of non-participants doing their own thing elsewhere in the studio. All Saturday (and most Friday) Couples Nights are expected to be comprised solely of Couple Night participants.

We will do our best to accommodate date changes within the month of Couples Night booking (as long as we have at least 4 hours notice) but Couples Night registrations are not refundable.
